When I was cleaning my mom’s house after Ike, I found some old issues of the Bayou News.  I remembered how fun and interesting they were, and how much it brought us closer as a community.  So I decided instead of making a paper version I would try  to do it on the internet, there would be so much more information that we could use.  It will have some of the same content, and hopefully all of the fun.   Bare with me though , this web site will  not  be  professionally done in any shape or form, but I will do my best.

Everyone will be welcome to send in their own stories, pictures, recipes, or ideas.  To the left is a navigation bar which will bring you to other pages such as news, information from the schools, town hall, phone numbers ect.

I hope this web site is helpful as well as fun for all of us.  I hope it brings us together as one community as we enjoy each others family gatherings, birthdays, and recipes.
